Job summary

Bird Construction is seeking a Digital Construction Coordinator (VDC) based in Mississauga, Ontario, with travel to project sites. You will oversee on-site Digital Construction activities, lead coordination between consultants, trade contractors, and project teams, and drive accurate, efficient model-to-field workflows.

The role requires hands-on experience with BIM/VDC tools (Revit, Revizto, ACC), ability to read plans, and a proactive approach to QA/QC.

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
1–3 years BIM/VDC experience with leadership on large-scale institutional projects.
On-site construction knowledge and/or related work experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

Oversee on-site Digital Construction activities for complex projects.
Lead on-site coordination between consultants, trade contractors and project teams.
Support development of project-specific model-to-field plans and QA/QC processes.
Coordinate and integrate reality capture data into project models.
Assist with design coordination and constructability issue identification.
