Overview

At KPMG, you’ll join a team of diverse and dedicated problem solvers, connected by a common cause: turning insight into opportunity for clients and communities around the world.

Working in the National Billing Delivery Center within Finance, you will ensure all services are billed on a timely basis, work closely with partners to minimize work in progress (WIP), and manage escalations. This position reports to the Billing Delivery Center Manager/Supervisor. As the center supports all local offices throughout Canada, flexibility in work schedules may be required based on business needs.

What You Will Do

1. Assist partners in initiating, preparing, reviewing, and issuing billings to clients for designated invoice types.
2. Support team members within the National Billing or Client Service teams with billing inquiries or requests.
3. Propose and finalize billing schedules with engagement partners, set up and maintain schedules in IBS, and edit draft bills as needed.
4. Review engagement letters to assess billing impacts, including schedule and terms.
5. Prepare detailed WIP analysis, conduct SOE reviews, and facilitate meetings with Partners for billing requests.
6. Support Accounts Receivable activities to ensure timely invoice payments.
7. Finalize and approve bills within IBS upon partner requests.
8. Process bill adjustments, such as credit notes and reversals, in consultation with engagement partners.
9. Assist in change management efforts to standardize billing processes across geographies and teams.
10. Engage professionally with team members to meet turnaround targets and uphold high service levels.
11. Collaborate effectively to complete work and improve efficiencies.

What You Bring To The Role

• Educational background and/or experience in data processing, business, or administration.
• Experience with enterprise resource planning systems billing, preferably SAP, in a professional service environment.
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility to support Partners across Canada with varying schedules.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude under stress, prioritize tasks, and manage workload effectively.
• Resilience to work pressures, meet tight deadlines, and produce high-quality work.

KPMG BC Region Pay Range

The expected base salary range is $46,500 to $70,500, potentially with bonuses. Salary within this range depends on location, skills, and qualifications. KPMG also offers a comprehensive Total Rewards program.
