Overview

At KPMG, you’ll join a team of diverse and dedicated problem solvers, connected by a common cause: turning insight into opportunity for clients and communities around the world.

Working in the National Billing Delivery Center within Finance, you will ensure all services are billed on a timely basis, work closely with partners to minimize investment in client work in progress (WIP), and manage escalations. This position reports to the Billing Delivery Center Manager/Supervisor. Since the center supports all local offices throughout Canada, flexibility in work schedules may be required based on business needs.

What You Will Do

• Assist partners in initiating, preparing, reviewing, and issuing billings to the firm's clients for specified invoice request types.
• Support team members within the National Billing or Client Service teams with billing requests or practices inquiries.
• Propose and finalize billing schedules with engagement partners, set up and maintain schedules in IBS, and edit draft bills as needed.
• Review engagement letters for billing impacts, including schedule and terms.
• Prepare detailed WIP analysis, conduct SOE reviews, and initiate meetings with Partners to facilitate billing requests.
• Support Accounts Receivable activities to ensure timely invoice payments.
• Finalize and approve bills within IBS upon partner requests.
• Process bill adjustments, such as credit notes and reversals, based on consultations with engagement partners, and clarify partial credit notes if needed.
• Assist in change management efforts to standardize billing processes across geographies and engagement teams.
• Engage professionally with team members to meet turnaround targets and ensure high service levels.
• Collaborate to complete work efficiently and implement process improvements.

What You Bring To The Role

• Education and experience in data processing, business, and administration.
• Experience with large enterprise resource planning systems, preferably SAP, in a professional services environment.
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility to support Partners across Canada with varying schedules.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude, perform under stress, prioritize tasks, and multitask effectively.
• Attention to detail, service-oriented, and committed to completing tasks efficiently and accurately.

KPMG BC Region Pay Range

The expected salary range is $46,500 to $70,500, potentially with bonus eligibility. Salary within this range depends on location, skills, and qualifications. KPMG offers a comprehensive Total Rewards program.
