Responsibilities for Bilingual Terminal Airport Security Guard

• Manage access points to restricted areas of the airport, verifying credentials and authorizing entry for authorized personnel only
• Conduct routine patrols of assigned areas within the airport premises
• Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, following established protocols and procedures
• Provide assistance and guidance to passengers and visitors regarding airport facilities, directions, and emergency procedures in a courteous manner
• Collaborate with airport staff, law enforcement agencies, and other security personnel to maintain a safe environment
• Ensure compliance with all safety and security regulations, policies, and procedures
• Maintain a professional demeanor, demonstrating integrity, reliability, and a commitment to excellence in security service delivery

Qualifications for Bilingual Terminal Airport Security Guard

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in security-related fields is preferred
• Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident to obtain Transportation Canada Security Clearance
• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or related fields preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Physical fitness to stand, walk, and perform patrols for extended periods
