Maplesoft Group, an SEB Company, is seeking a Bilingual Technical Design Lead for Identity & Access Management in Ottawa. You will guide the IAM program, design and implement solutions, and mentor a team of Senior IT Security Analysts.

You will manage identity lifecycle, RBAC/ABAC, access governance, and security policy enforcement while collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to deliver IAM initiatives in cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments.

About Us

We are seeking an experienced Lead Analyst, IT Security to join a dynamic Information Technology team. This leadership role is responsible for the design, implementation, enhancement, and ongoing management of enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions supporting mission-critical systems and services.

Position Summary

The Lead Analyst, IT Security will serve as the technical lead for the IAM program, overseeing the design, development, integration, and support of enterprise identity solutions. The successful candidate will lead a team of Senior Analysts, collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, and drive IAM initiatives that enhance security, access governance, identity lifecycle management, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise IAM solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of Senior IT Security Analysts.
• Manage identity lifecycle management processes, access governance, role-based access controls, and policy enforcement.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to deliver IAM projects and enhancements.
• Design and implement integrations with cloud, hybrid, and on-premises systems.
• Ensure adherence to security standards, development frameworks, and architectural best practices.
• Conduct impact assessments and evaluate new platform functionality and upgrades.
• Oversee troubleshooting, incident resolution, and system performance improvements.
• Support project planning, risk management, testing, deployment, and production migrations.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and standards.

Required Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM), cybersecurity, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing enterprise technology solutions.
• Strong knowledge of IAM concepts including identity lifecycle management, RBAC, ABAC, access certification, and policy enforcement.
• Experience with SSO, MFA, PAM, and enterprise access management solutions.
• Hands-on experience with IAM protocols including SAML, OAuth, OIDC, LDAP, and SCIM.
• Experience integrating IAM solutions within cloud and hybrid environments.
• Strong scripting and programming experience with technologies such as Java, JavaScript, Python, Node.js, and/or PowerShell.
• Experience leading technical teams and mentoring IT professionals.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bilingual in English and French (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Saviynt or other enterprise IAM platforms.
• Experience with SailPoint, CyberArk, Okta, Ping Identity, or similar platforms.
• Experience with APIs, middleware, automation, and enterprise integrations.
• SQL and Oracle database experience.
• Experience supporting large-scale mission-critical environments.
• Experience within higher education environments.
• Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CIAM, Saviynt, CyberArk, SailPoint, or Microsoft Security certifications.

Compensation

Salary Range: $107,500 - $134,300
