Job summary

Canon Canada Inc is seeking a Bilingual Technical Pre-Sales Consultant to serve as the primary technical resource for the sales organization, aligning Canon’s hardware and software with complex customer requirements and documenting current-state workflows. You will lead discovery, design scalable architectures, deliver technical demonstrations, manage PoCs, mentor the sales team, and help craft differentiating proposals.

Hybrid schedule with in-office and remote work.

Qualifications

• Bilingual French and English required.
• Technical degree in Computer Science ESG or Colour Management IPG; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years related work experience.
• Strong analytical and project management skills.
• Experience with Salesforce and Print Fleet.
• Experience using Therefore, Uniflow, VMware and BSD portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Lead deep-dive discovery sessions with prospective clients to uncover pain points and document workflows.
• Design custom scalable architectures that address client objectives.
• Deliver high-impact demonstrations and presentations on-site or virtually.
• Own end-to-end testing, PoCs and real-world trials.
• Mentor Sales team and sharpen prospecting skills.
• Collaborate with Sales to craft sophisticated value-based proposals.
• Differentiate Canon’s offerings using portfolio knowledge.
• Oversee transition from sale to deployment, meeting technical specs.
• Provide end-user training to ensure high adoption rates.
• Participate in customer account reviews to identify optimization opportunities.
