Job summary

Recruiting In Motion - Eastern Ontario seeks a Bilingual Senior Credit Analyst to own credit decisions, assess risk, and support lending strategies in a fast-paced financial services firm.

This role covers Quebec/Montreal remote options and Ontario hybrid work, requiring 3+ years in credit analysis and fluency in English and French.

You will partner with business partners, ensure due diligence, and contribute to process improvements while delivering sound, timely credit solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of credit analyst/lending experience.
• Fluently bilingual in English and French.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Business/Commerce preferred.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Proactive, confident, and commercially minded with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Analyze credit applications and make timely lending decisions.
• Assess risk, ensure due diligence, and maintain internal controls.
• Review complex applications and exceed lending limits guidance.
• Support and guide Credit Investigators.
• Build strong relationships with business partners and provide guidance on credit solutions.
• Contribute ideas for continuous improvement within the credit team.
