We are seeking a Bilingual Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in the Toronto, Montreal, or Vancouver office. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in executing test scenarios, developing quality assurance standards, and presenting findings to stakeholders. The role requires a strong foundation in functional, system, integration, regression, user experience, and user acceptance testing, along with the ability to generate test reports and troubleshoot issues. Our employees benefit from a hybrid work model with three days in-office per week.

Bilingualism in English and French is essential, as the role involves testing, validation, and communication with colleagues across offices in both languages, orally and in writing.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting testing and validation of applications to mitigate risks and minimize impact on business operations, including planning, designing, executing, and coordinating test scenarios.
• Writing and revising test plans, processes, and procedures to ensure quality.
• Executing various tests to promote a positive user experience and adoption.
• Troubleshooting and analyzing issues to determine solutions.
• Providing support in both non-production and production environments.
• Generating testing reports for stakeholders such as IT management, project managers, and business leaders.
• Developing recommendations and identifying trends for process improvement.
• Maintaining core application functionalities and supporting the development of the QA Centre of Excellence, including establishing standards and conducting training sessions.

Ideal candidate profile:

• Extensive experience in the QA lifecycle and testing methodologies.
• University degree and at least 5 years of practical IT experience.
• Proven track record in test plan execution, analysis, and issue management.
• Experience in professional services is an asset.
• Certification such as CAST or CSQA is an asset.
• Bilingual in French and English.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective team player with excellent communication skills, capable of handling multiple priorities under pressure.
• Knowledge of automation tools and experience with remote access technologies, Office Suite, and programming languages such as Perl, JavaScript, Python, C#, PHP, Ruby, SQL, XML, HTML.
