Job summary

The CWB Group is seeking a Bilingual Quality Assurance Specialist to support QA functions, oversee accreditation, and manage certification processes. You will review certifications, registrations, and oversee QA exams while maintaining compliance with accreditation standards.

You will report to the Registrar and Director, Quality Assurance. This remote-first role is based in Canada, with a flexible schedule to serve client needs and ensure consistent quality across regions.

Qualifications

• Bilingual French and English is required.
• Lead Auditor certification (ISO 9001 context) is required.
• Industrial background in metal fabrication (Welding) is preferred.
• Knowledge of CSA welding standards (CSA W47.1) and management systems is essential.
• Experience establishing and maintaining Quality Assurance systems.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve initial company certifications (CSA W47.1, etc.).
• Review and approve management system registrations (ISO 9001, etc.).
• Oversee certification exams (inspectors, engineers, supervisors).
• Assist with maintenance and upgrades of Quality Management Systems to meet accreditation.
• Perform internal audits across regions and head offices.
• Recommend changes to quality procedures and forms for efficiency.
• Conduct file assessments to verify requirements met for certification/registration.
• Participate in audits of CWB Certification and Registration activities.
• Prepare annual budgets and participate in staff meetings.
• Respond to inquiries as a technical expert.
