Job summary

Altis is seeking a Bilingual Power BI Developer in Ottawa, Ontario, with a hybrid schedule (3-4 days onsite). The role requires fluent English and French, and a contract ending April 30, 2027 with potential extension.

You will create bilingual Power BI dashboards and semantic models using Azure Synapse and Microsoft Fabric to drive data-driven decisions. You will collaborate with stakeholders, implement multilingual reporting, and ensure data security and quality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience developing Power BI reports, dashboards and bilingual semantic models.
• Strong expertise in Power BI, advanced DAX, semantic data modelling, star schemas and data integrity validation.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Synapse or Microsoft Fabric environments.
• Hands-on experience implementing multilingual Power BI solutions using Field Parameters, translated metadata and dynamic language selection within a shared semantic model.
• Proven ability to create accessible, visually engaging dashboards and translate complex data into meaningful KPIs.
