Job summary

A leading company in Ontario is looking for a Payroll Specialist to manage biweekly payroll for approximately 2,000 employees. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of multi-provincial payroll experience, including Quebec, and must be bilingual in English and French. In this role, you will ensure compliance across provinces, handle payroll-related inquiries, and support audits and reconciliations. Job description

• Process biweekly payroll for ~2,000 employees across multiple regions and employee types (hourly, salaried, commission-based)

Manage payroll-related inquiries and ticketing (50–60 per cycle)

Ensure compliance across multiple provinces (ON, QC, BC, AB), including bilingual payroll support for Quebec

Perform audits, reconciliations, and reporting; support period-end close

Serve as payroll systems expert (WorkDay, WorkBrain, transitioning to new T&A system)

Handle payroll for vendor employees, including commission calculations and financial tracking

Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance and internal stakeholders to maintain accurate payroll data and reporting

About You

Minimum 2 years of full-cycle, multi-provincial payroll experience (including Quebec), and experience with commission calculations is required

Bilingual – English and French is a must

Must have advanced Excel skills

PCP, CPM, PLP designation in or progress would be preferred

Experience with WorkDay is a strong asset

Salary Range

80,000 - $85,000 / year
