A leading company in payroll services seeks a Payroll Specialist to manage biweekly payroll for approximately 2,000 employees. This role involves handling payroll inquiries, ensuring compliance with regulations, and performing audits. Ideal candidates will have at least two years of multi-provincial experience, strong Excel skills, and be bilingual in English and French. Process biweekly payroll for approximately 2,000 employees across multiple regions and employee types, including hourly, salaried, and commission-based staff.
Manage payroll-related inquiries and ticketing, handling 50–60 requests per cycle.
Ensure compliance with payroll regulations across multiple provinces (ON, QC, BC, AB), providing bilingual support for Quebec.
Perform audits, reconciliations, and reporting; support period-end closing activities.
Serve as payroll systems expert, working with WorkDay, WorkBrain, and transitioning to a new T&A system.
Handle payroll for vendor employees, including commission calculations and financial tracking.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance and internal stakeholders to maintain accurate payroll data and reporting.
Minimum 2 years of full-cycle, multi-provincial payroll experience, including Quebec, with experience in commission calculations.
Bilingual in English and French is required.
Advanced Excel skills are essential.
PCP, CPM, PLP designations or progress in these areas are preferred.
Experience with WorkDay is a strong asset.
$80,000 - $85,000 per year.
