You will collaborate with notaries and the operations team in a regulated environment. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of accounting experience, strong knowledge of Quebec GST/QST, and is fully bilingual.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Strong knowledge of Quebec GST/QST and bookkeeping principles.
• Fully bilingual in French and English.
• Ability to work independently in a regulated environment.
• Experience with notarial or legal accounting software preferred.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records including AP/AR.
• Reconcile bank, client, and trust accounts per notarial regs.
• Process invoices, payments, deposits, and other transactions.
• Prepare and submit GST/QST returns and other remittances.
• Support financial admin and reconciliation of real estate transactions.
• Assist with monthly and year-end closings with external accountants.
• Keep documentation organized and compliant.
