Job summary

BMO Financial Group is seeking a Bilingual Specialist (English & French) for Loan Quality Control to support mortgage quality reviews in line with BMO requirements.

The role requires proficiency in both English and French and preferred underwriting experience in residential mortgages. You will audit files, ensure consistent quality, and contribute to process improvements across the unit.

Qualifications

• Typically 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Underwriting experience in residential mortgages preferred.
• Bilingual skills are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Execute work and audit files to ensure timely, accurate service delivery.
• Ensure high-quality practices and productivity alignment with business goals.
• Analyze root causes of underwriting errors to enable coaching and improvement.
• Provide ongoing support to continuous improvement within the unit.
• Think creatively and propose new solutions to problems.
• Operate mostly independently with potential broader responsibilities as needed.
