Job summary

Holt Renfrew is seeking a Server to join our fashion-driven environment in Canada. The role focuses on taking and delivering food orders, confirming daily specials, and accurately relaying client selections to the kitchen.

You will ensure guest satisfaction and promote new menu items. The ideal candidate holds a High School Diploma, has 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, and is fully bilingual in French and English.

• Fully bilingual in French and English

Responsibilities

• Confirms daily specials and provides detail information on ingredients as required
• Records client’s choices and relays same to kitchen
• Recalls orders accurately and delivers correct food items to clients
• Graciously and unobtrusively ensures client satisfaction with meals
• Ensures that clients know about new items on the menu
• Recommends wine and beverage pairings with assistance of bartender
• Recommends side dishes to compliment main courses
• Up-sells beverages, coffees and desserts as appropriate
• Handles all customer service concerns graciously, referring difficult issues to the Manager / Executive Chef
• Comply with all Health & Safety policies and requirements
