Insight Global is seeking an Instructional Designer to craft, develop, and maintain engaging learning solutions that support business goals, employee performance, and organizational change initiatives.

They will partner with leaders and SMEs to translate complex information into impactful training across instructor-led, virtual, and eLearning formats, applying ADDIE, SAM, or Agile methods while managing multiple projects and ensuring branding and compliance alignment.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of instructional design, learning and development, training, or curriculum development experience.
  • Bilingual - French and English.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies.
  • Experience developing learning solutions for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency with eLearning tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, or Captivate.
  • Experience developing ILT, virtual, and self-paced learning programs.
  • Strong writing, communication, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and consultation capabilities.
  • Ability to translate complex business processes into learning solutions.
  • Experience measuring training effectiveness and improving outcomes.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience in large, cross-functional environments; Finance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop instructor-led, virtual, eLearning, and blended learning solutions.
  • Partner with stakeholders and SMEs to assess needs and define training requirements.
  • Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to create effective training programs.
  • Develop learning objectives, curricula, content, assessments, and evaluation strategies.
  • Create engaging learner experiences using various instructional techniques and technologies.
  • Build and maintain eLearning modules, videos, simulations, and job aids.
  • Support organizational transformation and system implementations through training design.
  • Conduct training needs analyses and identify performance improvement opportunities.
  • Manage multiple training projects, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Evaluate learning effectiveness and recommend improvements based on feedback and outcomes.
  • Ensure all materials align with branding, accessibility, and compliance requirements.
  • Stay current on emerging learning technologies and trends.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • 6 Month Contract with opportunity to full time
  • Hybrid - Downtown Toronto or Montreal
  • Hourly Rate: $30-35/hr
Desired Experience & Skills
