Job summary

Permacon, a leading North American manufacturer of concrete products and division of Oldcastle, seeks a bilingual Sales Representative to grow and support our customer base across the Maritimes (NB, NS, PEI, NL).

Ideal candidate will excel at relationship building, enjoy travel, and represent a trusted construction and landscape brand. Primary duties include developing accounts, presenting products, and reporting using CRM systems.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and French is required.
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are required.
• Minimum of 3 years sales experience preferred in manufacturing, construction, building materials, or related industry.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and CRM or sales reporting tools.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Maritimes, including overnight travel and participation in weekend home shows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, dealers, distributors, and customers across the Maritimes.
• Promote and sell Oldcastle / Permacon products to existing and prospective clients.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence in the region.
• Conduct regular customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
• Attend weekend home shows and industry events as a company representative.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and customer updates using CRM systems.
• Travel throughout the Maritimes, including overnight stays away from home as required.
• Participate in training sessions in Quebec and Ontario.
