Job summary

Convergint is seeking a Bilingual Supply Chain Specialist (FR/EN) to support purchasing, procurement, and logistics for our Canada-wide warehouses. You will collaborate with project teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely, cost-effective sourcing and delivery of products and services.

The role emphasizes documentation and vendor/customer relationship building. The position offers growth in a multicultural environment across Ottawa, Halifax, or Montreal offices, with a focus

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Business Administration or Purchasing is preferred.
• SCMP designation is an asset.
• Minimum of 2–4 years purchasing experience required.
• Minimum of two years freight forwarding and logistics experience preferred.
• Minimum of two years customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Invite, assess, and award supplier tenders, bids, quotations, and proposals.
• Examine, select, order, and purchase goods and services at optimal cost.
• Consult with project teams to obtain relevant data and business intelligence.
• Analyze and coordinate shipments and transportation modes for international and domestic shipments.
• Interact with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms.
