Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity

You will test, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and components in a repair center environment according to established quality procedures. You will conduct tests to ensure that repaired products meet technical specifications. Additionally, you will advise product development of recurring component failures and trace and test components to locate defects using a variety of test equipment, including standard, bench-type, automatic test equipment, and nonstandard, specialized measuring instruments. You will compare test results with specifications and standards, record test results and data.

Location: You will work onsite from our Montreal office.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Team Lead, Technical Repair Centre.

What you'll do

  • Detect anomalies in equipment and components.
  • Conduct tests on different POS equipment parts and record results in a computer system.
  • Perform audit and quality control procedures to guarantee product reliability.
  • Diagnose problems with electronic modules and mechanical equipment.
  • Address basic repairs on modules (fitting, testing, calibration, or replacement).
