Opportunity Overview

The Bilingual Financial Planning Software Solutions Consultant supports RBC Financial Planners, Investment Advisors, and other team members across Canada by providing financial advice and planning solutions to enhance the client experience. This role within the Family Office Services (FOS) team involves collaboration with Wealth Management and RBC Personal & Commercial Banking. The Consultant will serve as the technical expert for Conquest Planning, our internally developed myGPS, and Wealth Planning Calculators.

Key Responsibilities

• Support financial planning tools to respond to client queries, uncover assets, retain business, and generate referrals.
• Conduct Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new or updated tools.
• Provide coaching and create resources such as job aids and user guides.
• Assist in developing and updating training materials and deliver training sessions as needed.
• Participate in various projects and cross-departmental initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and French.
• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Wealth Management, or related field.
• Certifications such as CFP, IQPF, QAFP, F. PI., CLU, RRC, or PFP.
• Knowledge of financial planning software (preferably Conquest).
• 3-5 years of experience in financial planning/wealth management.
• Understanding of Canadian taxation and pension legislation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage workload and work independently or collaboratively.
