Job summary

Campbell Morden Inc represents a client seeking a National Product Manager in Canada. This hands-on technical role serves as the primary authority for the iCombi, iVario, iHexagon and ConnectedCooking portfolio nationwide, not a traditional strategy or GTM post.

Based in Mississauga, you must be bilingual (French/English) and capable of leading installations, certifications, training, and technical escalations across Canada, with significant travel.

Qualifications

• Fully bilingual French/English.
• Based in Mississauga (GTA).
• Experience with machinery/equipment manufacturer, OEM or distributor.
• Strong technical understanding of installed equipment.
• Experience with Canadian certifications (CSA/UL-type environments).
• Experience with installation, configuration, applications or troubleshooting.
• Comfortable with connected equipment, Wi-Fi, software or IoT.
• Strong technical trainer and presenter.
• Customer-facing, organized, detail-oriented, able to manage national technical responsibilities.
• Willing to travel approx. 60% across Canada.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Canadian and provincial product certifications and approvals are obtained, maintained and valid.
• Serve as the primary national resource for product installations, design, configuration and technical escalations.
• Develop expert knowledge of iCombi, iVario, iHexagon and ConnectedCooking.
• Support product connectivity, including Wi-Fi, configuration and connected equipment.
• Work closely with technical/product counterparts in Germany and North America.
• Provide ongoing technical training and product education to Regional Sales Managers, consultants, dealer designers, kitchen planners and authorized partners.
• Support technical setup and readiness of external kitchens used for RATIONAL Live Cooking demonstrations.
• Provide technical guidance to kitchen designers and consultants and be the trusted product resource in Canada.
• Support new product launches, technical documentation and field implementation across Canada.

Bilingual (F/E) National Product Manager

Our Client is seeking a National Product Manager to serve as the primary technical product authority for Canada.

This is a hands-on technical product role, not a traditional product strategy or go-to-market position. The successful candidate will become the national point person for RATIONAL’s iCombi, iVario, iHexagon and ConnectedCooking product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure required Canadian and provincial product certifications and approvals are obtained, maintained and valid.
• Serve as the primary national resource for product installations, design, configuration and technical escalations.
• Develop expert knowledge of iCombi, iVario, iHexagon and ConnectedCooking.
• Support product connectivity, including Wi-Fi, configuration and connected equipment.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong technical understanding of sophisticated installed equipment.
• Experience with Canadian equipment certification/compliance and CSA/UL-type environments.
• Experience with equipment installation, configuration, applications or technical troubleshooting.
• Comfortable with connected equipment, Wi-Fi, software or IoT technology.
• Strong technical trainer and presenter.
• Customer-facing, organized, detail-oriented and capable of independently managing national technical responsibilities.
• Comfortable travelling approximately 60% across Canada.

Commercial kitchen equipment experience is not required.

We are particularly interested in technical product professionals from machinery manufacturers or distributors who have experience supporting Canadian certifications, installations, connected equipment and an international/European manufacturing organization.

The successful candidate will become the person the Canadian organization turns to for product knowledge, technical guidance, training and complex product situations.
