Description

Medaca is looking for a Bilingual Early Intervention Specialist to join our team onsite!

The Bilingual Early Intervention Specialist manages an assigned caseload, develops and maintains professional relationships with case managers, disability management staff of clients, and the Medaca team. They proactively suggest improvements and troubleshoot daily. Reports to Directors of Early Intervention Services.

The schedule for this role is Monday to Friday 8:00-4:00pm or 8:30-4:30pm.

Responsibilities
  1. Monitor and manage assigned caseload, ensuring timely case management.
  2. Book assessments, review and send reports to clients, and provide excellent client service. Handle escalations as needed.
  3. Review medical files and inquire about complex cases with client case managers.
  4. Establish and maintain positive relationships with doctors’ offices, patients, psychiatrists, and case managers via clear communication.
  5. Assist with communication between family physician clinics and facilitate information exchange.
  6. Handle ad hoc projects, ensuring their timely and accurate completion (e.g., data interpretation, report creation, additional communication).
Qualifications
  1. Post-secondary education or related experience.
  2. Customer service experience required; call center experience is an asset.
  3. Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Attention to detail and accuracy.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English; professional phone etiquette.
  6. Discretion in handling confidential information.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  8. Motivated, proactive, flexible, and adaptable.
  9. Collaborative attitude with team members and external partners.
  10. Interest in mental health and providing excellent care and service.
  11. High proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking French.
