Salary: $60,000 per year

Chrysalis Therapeutic Boarding School is dedicated to empowering young women through a holistic approach that integrates academics, therapeutic support, and life skills development. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team and contribute to our mission of fostering growth and resilience in our students.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage IEPs and 504 plans, ensuring compliance and individualized support for students.
  • Develop, implement, and update academic plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Conduct student observations to assess progress and identify areas for intervention.
  • Teach courses and other content areas as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers, clinicians, and direct care staff to provide a cohesive educational and therapeutic experience.
  • Adapt lesson plans to meet diverse learning styles and special education requirements.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and provide updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Required: Montana Class 1 or Class 2 Teaching License with a Special Education Endorsement
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with a teaching degree OR a Master’s degree in Special Education.
  • Proven experience in teaching and managing IEPs/504 plans preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Must pass federal and state background check.
  • Must pass drug screening.
  • Active State of Montana Driver's license.
