Sun Life Québec is seeking professionals to join the Group Disability team in Montreal. You will assess disability claims, lead recovery planning, and apply crisis intervention techniques to support clients through health transitions.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare or case management is required.
• Bilingualism in French and English is required to answer calls across Canada and worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage disability claims (short-term, long-term, salary continuance) with focus on timely, fair resolution.
• Lead recovery planning by identifying medical and non-medical factors and return-to-work readiness.
• Apply crisis intervention and rehabilitation techniques to support clients through health transitions.
• Use data and analytics to inform decisions and identify trends in recovery and return-to-work outcomes.
• Build trust-based relationships with clients, employers and healthcare providers.
• Communicate with empathy and clarity to guide clients through absence and return-to-work journeys.
