Job summary

Manulife John Hancock in Canada seeks a Bilingual Disability Case Analyst/Case Manager to support plan members across Canada, guiding them through illness, injury, and recovery while reclaiming independence and a path back to work.

Fully bilingual French/English required. You will assess medical, vocational, and psychosocial factors, design return-to-work strategies, and collaborate with sponsors, providers, and specialists to drive measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Fully bilingual (French/English) to support clients from various jurisdictions outside of Quebec.
• Experience or education in healthcare or disability management is an asset.
• Ability to make decisions efficiently under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Proactively handle a dedicated caseload in compliance with SLA and turnaround times.
• Respond to emails and phone calls in a timely manner.
• Assess claims based on medical, vocational, and contractual factors.
• Collaborate with sponsors, members, providers and internal partners to drive return-to-work outcomes.
• Write letters communicating benefit related information based on analytical reasoning.
• Demonstrate resilience and empathy when communicating with plan members.
