Job summary

Revera Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Bilingual Server (French and English) at Heritage Residence in Ottawa to support dining room service and meal delivery. The role requires working in both languages and delivering friendly, professional service to residents and guests.

Experience with seniors is preferred; candidates must be able to lift/heavy items and stand for long periods while upholding health and safety policies. A passion for welcoming, quality service is essential.

Qualifications

• Preference given to candidates with experience in food service and working with seniors
• Full professional proficiency in both French and English is required
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
• Must be physically able to lift and transfer heavy items and stand/walk for most of the shift
• Second language proficiency is an asset

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents and guests in a professional and courteous manner
• Set and clear dining tables and deliver tray service
• Assist with cleaning of dishware and kitchen/dining area
• Assist with catering and special events
• Assist in orientation and training of new dietary staff
• Follow health, safety, and department policies and procedures
• Attend staff meetings and participate in quality improvement
