Cogir Senior Living manages retirement residences nationwide and is hiring a Server to join our bright dining room in Ottawa, Ontario. This role supports set-up, serving, and cleanup as part of our dining services for residents and guests.

Qualifications

• Preference for experience in the food service industry and working with seniors
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must be fluent in English and French

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents and guests in a professional and courteous manner
• Set and clear dining tables and deliver tray service
• Assist with cleaning of dishware and maintaining dining area
• Assist with kitchen and dining area cleanliness
• Assist with catering and participate in special events
• Assist in orientation and training of new culinary staff
• Follow health and safety regulations and department procedures
• Respect Resident Rights and responsibilities
• Attend in-service training and staff meetings
• Support Quality Improvement and uphold company ethics
