Job summary

Home Hardware Stores Limited in St. Jacobs, Ontario, is seeking a Bilingual Customer Service Representative to deliver fast, accurate information and exceptional bilingual support to our Dealers and their staff in a busy call-centre environment.

You will navigate multiple systems to resolve inquiries and help with orders. This role requires English and French fluency, 2-3 years in bilingual customer service, and willingness to work onsite three days per week with a hybrid schedule at our

• Two to three years’ experience providing excellent bilingual customer service.
• Strong communication skills in English and French.
• High school graduation; post-secondary business courses are an advantage.
• Experience in retail or call centre environments is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast and accurate operational information to Dealers and staff.
• Navigate multiple computer systems to research, input, and resolve inquiries.
• Support Dealers with orders, payment programs, and settlements.
• Generate reports for Retail Field Teams as requested.
• Assist with opening, fill-in, and celebration event orders.
• Coordinate with departments to deliver timely information on product availability and orders.

As a Bilingual Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing fast and accurate operational information and excellent bilingual customer service support to our Dealers and their staff. Led by the Dealer Services Supervisor, this opportunity will suit a strong multi-tasker and communicator, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service experience and confidence navigating multiple systems and applications in a fast-paced environment.

• Member of a team working in a Call Centre environment using Call Centre Software.
• Confidently navigate multiple computer systems and applications to research, input, and resolve inquiries quickly and accurately.
• Work closely with all departments to provide timely information to Home Dealers on product, stock availability, PO's, Dealer orders, order problems, special services offered.
• Assist Dealers with the processing of Special Orders, Courier Orders, and Emergency Demand Orders.
• Assist with planning, scheduling, and keying of Opening Orders, Fill-In Orders and Celebration Event orders.
• Generate reports based on requests from Retail Field Teams and Dealers (balance of sales and gross margin report, and Multi-Store Comparison Report).
• Provide operational assistance and information for Dealers on Home's various Payment Card programs.
• Assist Dealers with their Moneris request when a new store is created or there is a change of ownership.
• Assists Dealers with financial settlement issues concerning Home Gift Card, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Debit Cards. Second level support is also provided for Dealer terminal support.
• High School graduation, with post-secondary business-oriented courses an advantage.
• Two to three years’ experience providing excellent support within a bilingual (English and French) customer service role.
• Experience within the Retail industry would be an asset.
• Knowledge of Home's systems and services would be beneficial but not essential.
• Commitment to providing excellent service to Home's Dealers.
• Ability to multi-task with strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong computer literacy and typing skills, with the ability to learn and switch between multiple systems and applications.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office required.
• Prior experience with Oracle Forms and Microsoft CRM is an asset.
• Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English and French.
• Ability to be onsite three days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs, to accommodate our hybrid working model.
