CCS in Ottawa, Ontario is seeking a bilingual Credit Counsellor (English/French) to support clients in navigating debt and achieving financial goals. You will assess finances, offer personalized strategies, and guide clients through debt management options.

Successful candidates will complete the Certified Financial Counsellor (CFC) certification within the first year and benefit from a hybrid work model, 35-hour weeks, and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Fluency in both English and French, written and spoken.
• Post-secondary degree or diploma is an asset.
• Three to five years of experience in financial services, counselling, social services, or related fields.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine desire to help people.

Responsabilités

• Assess clients’ financial situations to understand income, expenses, and debt obligations.
• Provide personalized options and strategies to manage and resolve debts.
• Support clients through Debt Management Program with interest relief when applicable.
• Respond to client questions and follow up to ensure progress toward financial stability.
