Successful candidates will complete the Certified Financial Counsellor (CFC) certification within the first year. Fluency in English is required, with additional languages an asset.
CCS is seeking a Credit Counsellor, working on a hybrid basis in Halifax. As a Credit Counsellor, you are passionate about supporting clients as they navigate financial challenges. You provide compassionate guidance to help them find solutions for managing debt, overcoming barriers, and achieving their financial goals.
As part of our commitment to delivering a consistent, high-quality counselling experience, successful candidates will receive comprehensive training and are required to complete the Certified Financial Counsellor (CFC) certification within the first year of their start date.
Serving clients across the country, English language skills are a requirement of this role, with fluency in additional languages an asset.
The starting salary range for this role and location is $60,840 - $65,416. Consideration will be given to previous education and experience that exceeds the requirements of the role.
Plus, we offer an annual salary review process each January, so the successful candidate can expect to receive regular increases to their salary, subject to meeting established performance objectives.
