goeasy Ltd. is seeking a passionate Bilingual Collections Representative to support Canadians from our busy contact center. You’ll use your English and French skills to contact customers, propose repayment plans, and manage accounts across a national footprint.

Qualifications

• Fully bilingual in English and French.
• Minimum 1–2 years in collections, sales, or customer service.
• Experience with automated dialer systems is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate compassion and empathy while understanding customer situations and offering solutions.
• Perform outbound calls to collect on overdue accounts and negotiate repayment plans.
• Manage customer accounts and collection activities on delinquent loans.
• Negotiate with customers and explore resources to secure the best arrangement.
• Document collection activities accurately in the systems.

A day in the life of a Bilingual Collections Representative:

• Demonstratecompassionandempathy for our customers by understanding their situations, needs, and offering solutions.
• Performoutbound callsto collect on overdue accounts by negotiating appropriate repayment plans with customers.
• Support operationsby managing customer accounts and collection activities on delinquent/past due accounts of financial loans.
• Expertly engage in negotiations with customers and explore financial resources to secure the optimal arrangement.
• Completeinitial trace workusing online tools and account systems.
• Documentcollections activities and processes through superior administration skills.

What we are looking for:

• Fully Bilingual in English and French
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a collections, sales, or customer service or call center/contact center role.
• Experience with using an automated dialer system is an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to multi-task; adapting to changes in a fast-paced environment.
• Competency in MS Office (Word, Excel); ability to learn new software applications.
• Able to pass background checks (criminal, employment, and credit).
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada on a full-time basis at the time of application; we are not able to provide sponsorship.

Hours of Operation: 8:00AMto10:30PM, Monday to Sunday (Shifts are rotational and within these hours)

We are offering arateof $22.00 - $29.00/hour CADfor this role, plus the opportunity to earn monthly bonuses.
