Job summary

Equitable is hiring a Bilingual Client Care Representative for Group Benefits (English/French) in Alberta, Canada. The role is fully remote with occasional in-person requirements at Waterloo, ON or other locations as needed.

You will handle health and dental inquiries, resolve issues, and collaborate with Fraud Investigations to flag suspicious activity. Successful candidates will be fluent in English and French, have prior phone-based client care experience, and bring insurance knowledge.

Qualifications

• Fluency in both French and English is required, including reading, speaking and writing.
• Previous experience in a phone-based client care/service role.
• Previous experience in an insurance company or investment knowledge is an asset.
• Superior interpersonal skills to manage relationships with clients.
• Excellent listening skills to facilitate positive outcomes with inquiries and irate callers.
• Ability to handle high stress levels in a fast-paced production environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on Health and Dental products and resolve customer questions.
• Collaborate with Fraud Investigations by referring suspicious claims and flag potential fraud.
