Job summary

Vensure Employer Solutions is seeking an experienced Payroll Supervisor to provide day-to-day operational leadership for a team of Senior Payroll Specialists, Payroll Specialists, Payroll Assistants, and Payroll Associates supporting the organization's client payroll function.

The Payroll Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring payrolls are processed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule, while providing coaching, escalation support, quality control, and process improvement leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll processing and practices.
• Experience handling multi-provincial Canadian payroll.
• Experience supervising payroll teams and providing coaching.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership for the payroll team.
• Supervise Senior Payroll Specialists, Payroll Specialists, Payroll Assistants, and Payroll Associates.
• Ensure client payrolls are accurate and meet deadlines.
• Coach and develop team members; conduct performance reviews.
• Handle complex payroll calculations and client inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local payroll requirements.
