Job summary

Epic Health Solutions seeks a detail-oriented Business and System Analyst (Level I) to join the Enterprise Delivery Office. You will elicit, document, and validate requirements for low-to-medium complexity initiatives, run workshops, and translate needs into structured technical requirements for agile and hybrid delivery environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst.
• Growing experience in business and system analysis in IT environments.
• Experience documenting user stories, business rules and acceptance criteria.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid SDLC.
• Basic testing, UAT and acceptance process understanding.
• Experience in regulated industries; health insurance, TPA, or financial services is a plus.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred; English minimum B2.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence and process modelling tools.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, document and manage requirements for low-to-medium complexity initiatives.
• Translate business needs into structured requirements with senior guidance.
• Facilitate workshops and requirement sessions.
• Interface between business stakeholders and technical teams to clarify outcomes.
• Review solution designs against requirements and business rules.
• Produce BRDs, Functional Specifications, User Stories and Business Rules.
• Document defects, gaps and change requests for review.
• Assist with Statements of Work (SOWs) and project planning.
• Support cross-functional teams with scope, planning and change management.
• Contribute to process improvement and skill development.
