Echelon Insurance is hiring an Accounts Receivable specialist in Mississauga for a 12-month contract. You will process payments, manage broker statements, and support monthly closings with accuracy and timely communication.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in Accounts Receivable, fluent French, and strong MS Excel skills to maintain broker records and aging reports, ensuring compliance with internal policies and payment terms.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of Accounts Receivable experience in insurance preferred.
• Fluency in oral and written French required.
• Strong MS Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities.
• Proficiency with broker statements and billing processes.

Responsibilities

• Sort and process payments (Cheques, ETFs and Clear pay) into policy administration systems with accuracy.
• Prepare bank deposits and monthly transfers in respective systems with proper records.
• Maintain broker account records and collect amounts due as per monthly statements.
• Request and manage refund requests in line with internal approvals.
• Reconcile broker statements and provide timely resolutions to broker inquiries.
• Assist in monthly closing processes with data and reconciliations.
