PBS is seeking a Bilingual Automotive Fixed Ops Software Trainer to deliver effective training on the PBS Dealer Management Software in English and French. The role blends virtual and in-person sessions with travel across North America.

Based in Canada, the trainer will split time between remote work and on-site visits, joining a team led by the Software Training & Transitions group. Strong communication and multitasking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Fluent in French and English (speaking, reading, writing).
• 1-2 years’ experience in a car dealership environment, with a focus in Fixed Operations.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel). Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software tools.
• Ability to travel within Canada and the USA up to 1 week per month; valid passport, visa (if applicable), and full driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Learn and develop an understanding of all PBS software areas and training processes.
• Develop understanding of data entry tasks and essential duties.
• Train customers in assigned module(s) and align with customer needs.
• Maintain positive customer relationships and respond to training requests promptly.
• Document issues, escalate as needed, and monitor STT queues.

The Role:

The Software Training & Transitions (STT) Bilingual Trainer - Fixed Ops is responsible for delivering effective training and support to customers on the PBS Dealer Management Software, in both English and French. This role focuses on ensuring customers gain the knowledge and confidence needed to successfully use the software, both through virtual and in-person training sessions. You will develop a thorough understanding of all software modules, assist with new software installations, and provide ongoing support throughout the implementation process.

This is a remote work opportunity based out of the Montreal and surrounding area. 50% of your time would be spent working from home and 50% of your time would be spent travelling to customer sites throughout North America.

Job Responsibilities:

• Learn and develop an understanding of all areas of the PBS software and the process for training customers on the PBS software
• Develop a strong understanding of data entry processes and other essential tasks
• Work directly with customers and train all sessions in assigned module(s)
• Maintain a positive relationship with customers, identifying customer needs and ensure they are being met
• Responds to internal and external training requests in a timely manner
• Write up tickets and investigate issues that arise, escape issues to corresponding teams
• Ensure STT queue is monitored
• Maintain documentation and update as processes change within department
• Knowledge sharing within own module and others within STT
• Take the initiative to learn new products to increase knowledge
• Willingness to commit to an ongoing system of education and cross-training
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

MUST HAVE Skills:

• Fluent in French and English (speaking, reading, writing)
