Job summary

Canadian Inclusion is seeking a bilingual Software Training & Transitions (STT) Trainer to deliver effective training on PBS Dealer Management Software in English and French. The role includes both virtual and in-person sessions, with travel across North America and a focus on Fixed Ops for dealership customers.

Work is remote from the Montreal area with 50% travel, offering growth opportunities, certifications, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Fluent in French and English (speaking, reading, writing).
• 1-2 years' experience in a car dealership environment, with a focus in Fixed Operations.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite; quick to learn new tools.

Responsibilities

• Learn and develop an understanding of PBS software across modules.
• Train customers in assigned module(s) through virtual and in-person sessions.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and identify their needs.
• Respond to training requests promptly and document issues for escalation.
• Ensure STT queue is monitored and knowledge is shared within the team.
• Take initiative to learn new PBS products and participate in cross-training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Role:

The Software Training & Transitions (STT) Bilingual Trainer – Fixed Ops is responsible for delivering effective training and support to customers on the PBS Dealer Management Software, in both English and French. This role focuses on ensuring customers gain the knowledge and confidence needed to successfully use the software, both through virtual and in‑person training sessions. You will develop a thorough understanding of all software modules, assist with new software installations, and provide ongoing support throughout the implementation process.

This is a remote work opportunity based out of the Montreal and surrounding area. 50% of your time would be spent working from home and 50% of your time would be spent travelling to customer sites throughout North America.

Job Responsibilities:

• Learn and develop an understanding of all areas of the PBS software and the process for training customers on the PBS software
• Develop a strong understanding of data entry processes and other essential tasks
• Work directly with customers and train all sessions in assigned module(s)
• Maintain a positive relationship with customers, identifying customer needs and ensure they are being met
• Responds to internal and external training requests in a timely manner
• Write up tickets and investigate issues that arise, elevate issues to corresponding teams
• Ensure STT queue is monitored
• Maintain documentation and update as processes change within department
• Knowledge sharing within own module and others within STT
• Take the initiative to learn new products to increase knowledge
• Willingness to commit to an ongoing system of education and cross-training
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

MUST HAVE Skills:

• Fluent in French and English (speaking, reading, writing)
• 1-2 years' experience in a car dealership environment, with a focus in Fixed Operations
• Strong computer skills are required, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel). The ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software tools is essential!
• Ability to travel within Canada and the USA up to 1 week per month; valid passport, visa (if applicable), and full driver's license are required

Additional Skills:

• Excellent communication skills, including presentation and public speaking
• PBS software experience is a strong asset
• Experience facilitating in‑person and virtual training sessions is a strong asset
