Job summary

PBS Systems is seeking a STT Bilingual Trainer - Fixed Ops based in Calgary with a remote work option anchored in Montreal. The role delivers bilingual training and support for PBS Dealer Management Software, in English and French, across North America.

You will develop thorough knowledge of software modules, assist with installations, and provide ongoing support through implementation. Travel 50% of the time, and work from home the rest, to engage customers effectively.

Qualifications

• Fluent in French and English (speaking, reading, writing).
• 1–2 years’ experience in a car dealership environment, Fixed Operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Willingness to travel within Canada and the USA up to 1 week per month; valid passport and driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver effective training and support on PBS Dealer Management Software in English and French.
• Train sessions virtually or in-person and develop module knowledge.
• Assist with new software installations and ongoing implementation support.
• Maintain documentation and update processes within the department.
• Escalate issues to corresponding teams and manage the STT queue.

The Role

The Software Training & Transitions (STT) Bilingual Trainer - Fixed Ops is responsible for delivering effective training and support to customers on the PBS Dealer Management Software, in both English and French. This role focuses on ensuring customers gain the knowledge and confidence needed to successfully use the software, both through virtual and in-person training sessions. You will develop a thorough understanding of all software modules, assist with new software installations, and provide ongoing support throughout the implementation process.

This is a remote work opportunity based out of the Montreal and surrounding area. 50% of your time would be spent working from home and 50% of your time would be spent travelling to customer sites throughout North America.

Job Responsibilities

• Learn and develop an understanding of all areas of the PBS software and the process for training customers on the PBS software
• Develop a strong understanding of data entry processes and other essential tasks
• Work directly with customers and train all sessions in assigned module(s)
• Maintain a positive relationship with customers, identifying customer needs and ensure they are being met
• Responds to internal and external training requests in a timely manner
• Write up tickets and investigate issues that arise, **escalate issues to corresponding teams**
• Ensure STT queue is monitored
• Maintain documentation and update as processes change within department
• Knowledge sharing within own module and others within STT
• Take the initiative to learn new products to increase knowledge
• Willingness to commit to an ongoing system of education and cross-training
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

MUST HAVE Skills

• Fluent in French and English (speaking, reading, writing)
• 1-2 years' experience in a car dealership environment, with a focus in Fixed Operations
• Strong computer skills are required, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel). The ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software tools is essential!
• Ability to travel within Canada and the USA up to 1 week per month; valid passport, visa (if applicable), and full driver's license are required
