PBS Systems in Calgary, Alberta, invites an Automotive Sales Specialist - Training & Implementation to deliver expert training on our Dealer Management Software. You will conduct virtual sessions and onsite deployments, guiding customers through the installation and adoption process to maximize system value.

Based out of Calgary, you will travel to client sites in Canada, the USA, and the Caribbean, spending about half your time on site and half in the office.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years automotive experience focusing on sales operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn PBS software quickly.
• Willingness to travel within Canada and the USA up to 2 weeks per month; passport required.

Responsibilities

The Role:

As an Automotive Sales Specialist - Training & Implementation, you will deliver expert training and support to new and existing customers on our Dealer Management Software. You will primarily conduct virtual training sessions to guide customers through the software implementation process, ensuring a smooth transition. Additionally, you will provide onsite training for new software installations in person. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service, fostering learning, and maximizing customer success with our software.

This work opportunity is based out of our Calgary, Alberta and requires travel to customer sites in Canada, the USA, or the Caribbean. Half of your work will be done from the office, the other half you will be traveling to the dealership's site as part of the installation team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service by effectively navigating and demonstrating the PBS DMS system, while maintaining positive, solutions-focused relationships to ensure customer needs are met or exceeded
• Independently manage and deliver all assigned training sessions within primary silo
• Become an independent install resource
• Develop a thorough understanding of PBS software and related training processes
• Respond promptly to internal and external training requests
• Gain proficiency in data entry and other key operational tasks
• Stay up-to-date and understand process documentation as departmental processes evolve
• Share knowledge across silos and contribute to team learning and development
• Take the initiative to expand product knowledge and participate in cross-training opportunities if possible
• Support a collaborative and positive team environment
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

MUST HAVE Skills:

• 1-2 years' PREVIOUS AUTOMOTIVE EXPERIENCE with a focus in Sales operations
• Strong computer skills are required including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, word, excel). The ability to quicky learn and adapt to new software tools is essential!
• Ability to travel within Canada and the USA up to 2 weeks per month; valid passport (or the capacity to obtain it) and full drivers' license are required

Additional Skills:

• Excellent communication skills, including presentation and public speaking
• PBS software experience is a strong asset
• Experience facilitating in-person and virtual training sessions is a strong asset
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
