Job summary

AB Volvo is seeking a Bilingual Account Resolution Specialist to support customers and dealers in commercial collections. You will manage overdue accounts, provide payout quotes, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve delinquencies.

The role requires strong organization, bilingual French communication, and experience in asset account management within financial services. On-site in Mississauga with training in Aurora, ON, Canada.

Qualifications

  • Must be bilingual, verbal and written in French.
  • BA/BS in Business or related field, or equivalent work experience in financial services.
  • 3-5 years progressive asset account management and/or collections experience in commercial banking, consumer lending or equipment leasing.
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support customers and dealers through all phases of customer service and account resolution for Volvo's financed assets.
  • Handle customer inquiries, manage overdue accounts, and resolve issues with urgency and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with sales, credit, repossession, and other teams to ensure accurate account management.

What You Will Do

In this role, you will support customers and dealers throughout all phases of the customer service and account resolution process for the trucks, construction equipment, and coaches manufactured by the Volvo group and financed by VFS. You will handle customer inquiries, manage overdue accounts, and help resolve issues with urgency and professionalism. This position requires strong organization, energy, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. You will also work closely with teams across the business—including sales, credit, repossession, remarketing, end‑of‑term, special assets, accounting, legal, and capital markets—to ensure accurate account management and timely customer support.

You will work in a collaborative, on-site, office-based environment at our location in Mississauga, Ontario, partnering daily with colleagues and dealer partners to resolve customer situations. We celebrate wins and learn from challenges, transforming together to stay flexible, fast, and customer focused. During training you will be expected to work from our Aurora, ON location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Display a high degree of integrity, trustworthiness, and professionalism, listening carefully to customers' needs and displaying empathy to provide the best service possible, escalating issues to the next level of authority and taking initiative to assist others.
  • Consistently adhere to standards to provide accurate and timely identification of commercial customer and dealer issues along with appropriate resolution, including but not limited to payout quotes, audit balance confirmations, plating letters and account reconciliations/amortization schedules.
  • Be the point of contact for lease assumption/loan takeover, information gathering and document processing.
  • Administer insurance process, including certificates’ status and compliance follow-up.
  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts to ensure delinquent payment & insurance coverage irregularities return to a level of acceptable compliance as quickly as possible.
  • Determine the cause of default or delinquency and negotiate arrangements through payments, modifications, or repossession when warranted.
  • Make discretionary decisions upon each account as to the likelihood of succeeding through the total obligation and assistance that will be needed through this process.
What You Bring
  • Must bebilingual,verbal and writtenin French.
  • BA/BS in Business or related field, or equivalent work experience in the financial services industry.
  • 3-5 years progressive asset account management and/or collections experience in commercial banking, consumer lending or equipment leasing
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
