Sports Garage in Canmore is seeking a full-time Bike & Ski Technician to join our team. The role alternates between ski/snowboard service in winter and bike/e-bike service in summer, with duties including tuning, maintenance and rental fleet care.

We value hands-on work, strong problem-solving skills and a customer-service mindset to help guests enjoy the mountains to the fullest. Training is available for the area you prefer.

Qualifications

• Experience in ski/snowboard or bike service preferred

Job description

Sports Garage is looking for a full-time Bike & Ski Technician to join our team in Canmore.

We’re a locally owned outdoor sports shop offering e-bike rentals, bike service, ski and snowboard rentals, ski/snowboard tuning, as well as retail and consignment gear.

This is a hands‑on, year‑round position for a customer service oriented person who is knowledgable about ski/snowboard/bike gear and who enjoys working on outdoor equipment, solving mechanical problems and helping customers get the most out of their time in the mountains.

During the winter, the role focuses primarily on ski and snowboard service, tuning and rental equipment. During the summer, the focus shifts to bike and e-bike service and maintaining our rental fleet.

Experience in both bike and ski service is ideal, but we’re happy to train the right person who has strong experience in one area and wants to learn the other.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Winter – Ski & Snowboard

• Ski and snowboard tuning
• Base repairs and P-Tex work
