CGIC in Montreal is offering a 16‑week BI Intern position for Winter or Summer 2027. The role is hybrid (2 days in office) and requires fluency in both English and French. You will collaborate on analytics projects, build data pipelines, and develop dashboards while gaining exposure to the insurance data domain under mentorship.

This internship emphasizes analytical skills, rigor, teamwork, and a growing knowledge of BI tools and data science within a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, computer science or related field.
• Team player who can adapt to a dynamic environment.
• Fluency in English and French required; French is mandatory.
• Experience with R, Python, SQL and/or other pricing tools is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Participate in analytics projects and collaborate with mentors.
• Develop data pipelines and dashboards for business insights.
• Apply analytical techniques and programming to solve business problems.
• Support BI Manufacturing and Analytics teams with data sources.
