Job summary

Raise is seeking a BI Developer & Data Analysts Contractor in Montreal to design data models and build scalable pipelines. You will optimize Snowflake-based solutions using Matillion, develop SQL, and create dashboards in Tableau and PowerBI. The role requires SAP data modeling experience and collaboration within an Agile team.

You will work in a hybrid setup with on-site and remote days, contributing to analytics initiatives and data-driven decision-making for a leading client.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years full-time work experience in BI/Data Analytics.
• Expert-level SQL development and optimization of complex queries.
• Strong Snowflake data warehousing experience.
• Proficiency with AWS cloud services and data pipeline development.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools, specifically Matillion.
• Familiarity with Tableau and PowerBI visualization.
• Excellent collaboration in Agile Scrum environments.
• Hands-on experience modeling SAP ECC/S/4HANA data structures.

Responsibilities

• Design dimensional/analytical data models (star/snowflake) and build scalable data pipelines.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and Snowflake models using Matillion.
• Utilize AWS services for storage, compute, queues, and Lambda functions.
• Create dashboards in Tableau and PowerBI for actionable insights.
• Model SAP data in Snowflake for advanced analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and translate requirements into solutions.
• Use Jira/Confluence to plan sprints, manage backlog, and document work.
• Develop and maintain ASP.NET applications for data integration and reporting.
• Support client Energy rebranding efforts.
