Job summary

Keyrus is seeking a Senior Data Consultant to strengthen enterprise data and analytics environments with emphasis on Databricks engineering, data pipelines, and production support. You will optimize transformations, ensure quality, and contribute to Power BI reporting while engaging with stakeholders and driving continuous improvement.

You will work in a hybrid setup in Toronto or Montreal (2 days in office).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering, data consulting, or related data and analytics roles.
• 3+ years developing and optimizing Databricks pipelines and data transformations.
• Experience with lakehouse architectures, distributed data environments, and pipeline orchestration.
• Experience supporting production analytics environments with QA validation and incident resolution.
• Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and own technical deliverables.
• Exposure to Power BI and reporting solutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize Databricks data pipelines and transformations with Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Support production analytics environments, including QA, gap analyses, and incident resolution.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate requirements, scope, and acceptance criteria.
• Identify blockers and risks, ensuring timely resolution and transparent communication.
• Own end-to-end technical deliverables and present solutions to stakeholders for validation.
• Support BI and reporting solutions, contributing to AI-assisted data engineering workflows.
• Maintain documentation and contribute to engineering standards.
