Evolve and secure the Azure data platform of a major Quebec financial institution, from ingestion to Power BI dashboards. Montreal, hybrid 2 days on site.

Abbeal is looking for a BI data engineer or analyst for the Azure data platform of a major Quebec financial institution.

Context

The data team designs and evolves a complete Azure platform, from infrastructure to Power BI reporting, using a Medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).

The role

• Design and maintain ETL / ELT pipelines in Azure Synapse
• Ensure data quality, security and governance
• Gather requirements and write technical specifications
• Transfer knowledge to internal teams

What we are looking for

• PySpark / Spark and R
• Terraform (Azure providers), Azure DevOps and YAML CI/CD
