ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Designs, administers, and maintains employee benefits plans, programs, and records.
  • Serves as the first point of contact and leads day-to-day benefits functions as well as annual renewals.
  • Informs and advises employees on benefits matters regarding eligibility, coverage, and provisions.
  • Facilitates informative benefit education meetings during open enrollment and throughout the year.
  • Assists with special projects within benefits, compensation, wellness and engagement.
  • Administers and supports employee-qualified leave of absence programs, such as sick leave, short- and long-term disability, and FMLA. Monitors and tracks absence status, documentation, and return to work dates.
  • Stays up to date on industry trends, best practices, state and federal regulations in total rewards, and benefits administration.
  • Create related basic and intermediate reporting.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; associates degree preferred.
  • Two to four years of benefits administration
  • Leave of Absence, FMLA management
  • Billing and reconciliation
  • Basic to intermediate experience with claims review
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • HRIS experience
