Job summary

Monarch House is seeking a Float BI to support children and youth with complex needs in Calgary, AB. You will implement BCBA-guided intervention plans, collaborate with a clinical team, and ensure continuous client coverage in a dynamic setting.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years experience with ASD or related disabilities, relevant ABA education, and a valid driver’s license. The role offers part-time, hourly scheduling across several clinics, with flexible shifts and supportive supervision.

Qualifications

2+ years experience working with children and youth with complex needs and/or developmental disabilities.
Pursuing or completed education in ABA or related field.
Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening within the last 6 months.
A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for daily use.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

Execute intervention plans developed and supervised by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for Monarch House clients.
Work within an interdisciplinary team to support skill acquisition and/or decrease maladaptive behaviors.
Ensure an engaging and positive client experience in a fast-paced and frequently changing environment.
Maintain adequate client coverage for absences, meetings, trainings, and staff shortages.
Use systematic methods and behavioral strategies to support client behavior changes.
Contribute to program development by teaching and reinforcing skills in 1:1 or small group settings.
