Job summary

Bushbalm is seeking a Social Media Coordinator in Ottawa, hybrid role, to craft engaging content for professional beauty audiences and manage Bushbalm PRO channels. You will shoot, edit, and publish social-first content across key platforms, write captions, and identify creator opportunities.

You’ll collaborate with the Senior Brand Manager and Content Strategist, bringing your ideas while aligning with Bushbalm PRO’s creative direction. The role offers growth in a fast-growing skincare brand.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of experience in social media, content creation, marketing, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok trends and formats.
• Comfort shooting and editing short-form video and on-camera presence.
• Hands-on Canva and graphic design experience with typography and layout.
• Strong writing skills for clear, engaging captions.
• Organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, shoot, edit, and publish social-first content.
• Create platform-native content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other channels.
• Manage day-to-day engagement across Bushbalm PRO social channels.
• Identify strong UGC and creator opportunities.
• Support content calendar and event coverage.
