Randstad Canada is seeking an experienced Reach Truck Operator for the Fountain Tire Distribution Center in Acheson, AB. You will pick orders, receive trailers, track inventory, and move stock safely using Reach Trucks and related equipment.

A fast-paced environment requires strong material-handling skills and valid Fall Protection and Fire Watch certifications. Competitive pay at $22.00/hr with day or afternoon/weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Mandatory certifications: Fall Protection and Fire Watch.
• Reliable personal vehicle required (site not accessible by public transit).
• Physically able to lift up to 80 lbs regularly.
• Experience operating Reach Trucks or similar equipment.
• Basic computer skills and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick orders and package products to meet KPI targets.
• Receive trailers, sort, stack, and put away items per standards.
• Safely load and unload delivery trucks to meet deadlines.
• Operate reach trucks and order pickers throughout the center.
• Maintain inventory locations and handling procedures; assist counts.
• Collaborate with team to improve warehouse efficiency and safety.

In this role, you will be responsible for accurate order picking, trailer receiving, inventory tracking, and safely moving stock across the warehouse compound. Responsibilities

• Order Picking: Accurately select orders and package products while consistently meeting site KPI targets.
• Receiving & Putaway: Receive incoming trailers by sorting, stacking, and putting away items according to company standards.
• Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload delivery trucks to ensure tight delivery deadlines and customer commitments are met.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate Reach Trucks, Stand-up Forklifts, and Order Pickers (Cherry Pickers) throughout the distribution center.
• Inventory Control: Maintain active knowledge of inventory locations, model numbers, and handling procedures; assist with documentation and routine counts.
• Team Collaboration: Work both independently and alongside team members to proactively increase overall warehouse efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• Mandatory Certifications: Valid Fall Protection and Fire Watch tickets.
• Transportation: Reliable personal vehicle is required (the Acheson site is not accessible via public transit).
• Physical Capabilities: Ability to consistently lift up to 80 lbs on a regular basis without assistance.
• Equipment Experience: Proven experience operating Reach Trucks, Stand-up Forklifts, or Cherry Pickers/Order Pickers.
• Technical & Soft Skills: Basic computer skills with Microsoft Windows programs; excellent written and verbal communication.
• Work Ethic: Strong ability to self-manage, work independently with minimal supervision, and maintain high safety standards.
