Job summary

Canna Cabana Inc. is seeking a District Manager for British Columbia, based in the greater Vancouver area. You will oversee local marketing, operations, and financial performance across BC stores, lead a high-performing team, and drive customer service excellence.

The role requires strong leadership, deep retail experience (preferably in cannabis), and the ability to travel across BC and Canada. Competitive salary with benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Selling It Right certification from LCRB is required.
• University degree or College diploma in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years multiunit experience in the retail industry, cannabis retail industry preferred.
• Minimum 5 to 8 years work experience in a management role in a retail environment, preferably in a unionized retail environment.
• Proven ability to lead a team.
• Proven excellent customer service skills.
• Clean and clear criminal background check.
• Clean driver’s abstract and a valid driver’s license.
• Fully functional and safe motor vehicle to travel between locations.
• Ability to travel across BC and/or Canada.
• Strong organizational, strategic, planning and implementation skills.
• Excellent management writing and verbal communication skills.
• Experience interacting with employees to direct workflow, assess performance and assign duties.

Responsibilities

• Achieve all key financial objectives.
• Attract, coach and retain superior talent; motivate and develop a winning team.
• Implement local marketing programs to maximize customer awareness and repeat visits.
• Maintain staffing levels and manage budget within company guidelines.
• Hire, orient, train, motivate, appraise performance and manage HR matters with HR Department.
• Monitor inventory, security standards and cash handling procedures.
• Travel between locations and open new stores in the region as needed.
• Ensure profitability for all BC stores and report on KPIs.
